The Single Pull

“One card is a question, not an answer.”

The lightest form, requiring no ring layout at all — a daily practice, not a consultation.

Draw one Third at random, from the four rings shuffled together, without specifying a ring in advance. Then go looking for it: is this pattern running in your life right now, and if so, which way is it pointed? The card is a prompt to check for something, never a forecast of what the day will contain. Carry the reading loosely. This is closer to the daily practices in Part Two than to a formal Weaving, and it requires no other ritual — a single card, a moment of attention, and then the day proceeds.
