The Fold is the Nest seen up close
One circuit described in two places: a rule travelling out and returning changed is the Fold; a form above arriving as a rule in your day is the Nest read downward. The circuit only closes once the Nest runs both ways. It closes at two speeds — Dyad into Skein is observable within a life, Skein into Culture is not — which is why the honest statement is that you tend the ground rather than your own return.
