Signed-loop polarity
Every link in a loop carries a sign (does more of the cause produce more or less of the effect); count the negative links, and an even count (including zero) is reinforcing, an odd count is balancing. The actual arithmetic underneath the ↻ and ⤸ marks — derivable, not a judgment call.
