Concept · Self

Atomic composition

Electrons move constantly at no cost to identity (Numbers-level); neutrons change the mass but not the element, and some combinations are unstable, decaying on their own schedule (echoes the Compost Heap's unprocessed weight); changing the proton count takes a nuclear reaction and changes the element itself (Paradigm-level). A physical body for the claim that a self changes constantly at one cost and almost never at another.
